ASSIF
Anti-siphon pressure-compensating flat drip emitter — solves soil-suck-back failure.
- Anti-Siphon

- 16–25 mm
ASSIF is an in-line flat pressure-compensating (PC) drip emitter. Its distinctive feature is an anti-siphon mechanism: when irrigation stops and the lateral drains, the resulting vacuum pulls soil and sand particles back through the emitter outlet into the pipe. ASSIF's check-valve mechanically prevents this suck-back. Terra-Zenith supplies ASSIF as the Geoflow Türkiye authorised distributor for Türkiye and regional markets.
Flow-rate options: 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.1, 3.4 L/h. Available in 16, 17, 20, 22, and 25 mm tube diameters and 0.4–1.2 mm wall thicknesses. The flat profile permits high-speed injection at the factory and yields uniform manufacturing tolerance.
Why does anti-siphon matter?
In subsurface drip lines, the most common cause of emitter clogging is not root intrusion — it's soil suck-back. The moment irrigation stops, the lateral drains; the negative pressure at each emitter outlet pulls in adjacent soil. Over time this material accumulates inside the emitter, reduces flow, and breaks system uniformity.
ASSIF's check-valve closes on reverse flow, eliminating suck-back. This produces a measurable service-life improvement in subsurface applications.

What applications is ASSIF suited for?
Row crops (alfalfa, sugarcane, vegetables), orchards, and landscape. Suitable for both surface and subsurface installation; the anti-siphon advantage is most pronounced in subsurface use. Compatible with reclaimed water and treated wastewater applications as well.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is ASSIF pressure-compensating (PC)?
Yes. A pressure-regulating mechanism delivers constant flow across a wide operating-pressure range and varying field slopes.
What filtration is required?
120 mesh minimum is recommended. This prevents emitter clogging and extends the service life of the pressure-regulating mechanism.
Which wall thickness should I choose?
0.4–0.6 mm for single-season use; 0.8–1.2 mm for multi-year or subsurface installations. Terra-Zenith recommends based on project duration and burial depth.
Does ASSIF work with treated water?
Suitable for standard treated water. For high-load treated wastewater projects the WASTEFLOW line (with internal Geoshield™ liner) is preferred.
What is the lead time?
Typical lead time from Russia stock is 7–14 days. For project-quantity delivery contact Terra-Zenith.
