Italian engineering, twice disciplined.

Riverclack obtained its first patent on the no-perforation lock geometry in 1987. Through the 1990s the company proved the system on industrial and logistics sites in northern Italy, then expanded into North Africa and the Middle East — regions with extreme diurnal temperature swings, where conventional standing-seam fastening fails first.

By 2000 the cumulative installed area had passed 5 million square metres. In the 2010s Riverclack launched an integrated photovoltaic line — fixing PV modules directly on the patented seam without through-fasteners. By the late 2010s the company had reached 18.4 million m² across 35+ countries — with airports in Türkiye, Algeria, Panama and Tunisia among the largest flagships.

The Italian tradition of architectural roofing is not a decorative gesture but an engineering discipline — inherited from Roman lead roofing through Venetian copper, through the glass passages of nineteenth-century Milan to the industrial roofs of Maranello and Turin in the twentieth century. Riverclack stands in that lineage: the company makes components that an architect can deploy across any geometry — flat, curved, conical, dome — without compromising water-tightness.

Production is concentrated in Italy. Quality control is run to ISO standards with full traceability of every sheet batch from raw-material supplier to installation site. All available materials — EN AW 5754-H18 aluminium, copper, stainless steel, zinc-titanium, polymer-coated galvanised steel — meet the European standards EN 14782 and EN 14783.
